Mgr. Kateřina Hager


Katerina was born in Prague in 1977.  She originally studied acting at the Prague Conservatory.  In the late 90´s, she worked briefly as a TV reporter for the Czech TV channel Premiera, where she produced and directed various art and culture reportages.  Later she also worked as the Editor in Chief of The Collage, an international youth magazine focusing on human rights mainly in the Balkans, Caucasus and the Middle East.

In 2011, she graduated with a masters degree in Cultural Anthropology from Charles University.  She received her formal film training at Prague Film School where she later worked for several years in the school’s production department. In 2012, Katerina founded Bohemian Productions, a production company realizing documentary films and other audiovisual work aimed at the international TV and film market.


Tariq Hager


Tariq was born in 1971 in Lebanon.  He graduated from Brown University and later studied in the  NYU PhD Cultural Anthropology program.  He is one of the two founders and directors of Prague Film School - www.filmstudies.cz

In 2012 he co-founded Bohemian Productions.


Masa Hilcisin

Masa Hilcisin is a documentary filmmaker and producer, lecturer and scholar. She has been involved in a number of cultural and film projects in the region of former Yugoslavia. Her interests include documentary film with emphasis on social issues and different aspects of violation of human rights. Her documentary films have been screened at various film festivals around the world. She holds a Ph.D. in Film Studies and Audiovisual Culture from the Masaryk University and teaches a documentary film production at the Prague Film School.

Sklenarova Sarka

Šárka Sklenářová


Šárka is one of the most sought after Czech editors. After completing her studies at FAMU (Prague’s Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts) and Saint Denis in Paris, she started her career as and an assistant editor on films by Roman Polanski (Oliver Twist), Terry Gilliam (Brothers Grimm) and Andrzej Bartkowiak (Doom) and since then has worked on many documentaries and feature films. She cooperates with several well-known Czech directors and edits only those projectst that have a social purpose.
